More than anticipated

A golfer in Florida almost lost his arm yesterday when he lost his ball in a pond and went to retrieve it. He was bitten by an alligator and was brought to a hospital after almost losing his life. I wonder if he got the ball back. He had no serious injuries and the alligator was captured.

Wow, I can't believe someone would be that insane to go into alligator territory. Even if the ball fell close to the pond's edge, it is still not a smart idea to try to retrieve it. Alligators will stay near shore if they are being fed, and a lot of people feed alligators even though it is illegal. I walked past an alligator that had made it on land from a pond. He didn't try anything though.
